NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Third Annual General Meeting (“Meeting”) of the members of Hong Kong Dance Performing Artistes Association (the “HKDPAA”) will be held on:

Date: 12th  December, 2020 (Saturday)

Time: 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Admittance: 4:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Venue: “TheMe Park” - Flat E2, 4/F, Kaiser Estate, Phase 1, 41 Man Yue St., Hung Hom, Kowloon

All members are invited and encouraged to attend the meeting where the Committee will:

• Recount activities over the last year and give an outline plan for the next year

• Examine and approve the accounts for 2019/20

A member entitled to attend and vote at this Meeting is entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and vote in his or her stead.  The proxy need to be a member.  The instrument appointing a proxy shall be in writing under the hand of the appointer, and shall be deposited at the office of HKDPAA not less than 48 hours before the time appointed for holding meeting or adjourned meeting at which the person named in the instrument proposes to vote and in default the instrument of proxy shall not be treated as valid.  Only the originals of completed proxy forms received no later than 10th December 2020 5:00 p.m. are considered as valid. (*The meeting will be conducted in Cantonese.)

According to the constitution of the HKDPAA, current member can submit a written resolution with the consents of no less than one tenth of the HKDPAA members or five HKDPAA ex officio members (whichever is less). The written resolution should be handed or posted to the Secretariat seven days before the day of the Meeting.
